Feature Matrix

Last updated:

Which IDE features does Mermaid Studio ship for each Mermaid diagram type? This table is generated from the latest plugin release, so it always reflects what’s actually wired up. Click any diagram name for its dedicated page; switch to Full feature matrix to see every feature column individually instead of category roll-ups.

The Maturity column counts the tracked capabilities a diagram type has, so you can spot the best-covered types at a glance. A higher count means more capabilities, not deeper ones. The tracked set grows as the plugin gains capabilities, and a muted n/a cell marks a feature that doesn’t apply to a type and is not included in its count.

Beyond editing source, Mermaid Studio lets you edit many diagrams directly in the rendered preview: move nodes, add elements, retarget edges, and restyle the selected element in the Style Pane. This table tracks those visual editing capabilities for each diagram type.
